UPDATE: After a two hour search/further reading on a DIFFERENT topic in the help section, I discovered that it can take up to 12 hours for things to update on the various pages, even though the results status page appears to update immediately (apparently, that had not happened yet as of this update - HCMD2 still did not appear in my projects list on my status page.
----------------------------------------I'm glad that whatever the "inconclusive" problem was has apparently been resolved - I have credit for the TWO tasks sent to me. Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2, however, doesn't appear on my stats page. I've been a member for a few months, originally opting in for tasks from this project but never got any. After opting OUT of HCMD2, I recently received two tasks, which have been completed and validated and credit given - would kinda like to see them with the rest of my stats. Will happen when the work units have validated ... and the next 12 hourly statistics update has completed and the client is of course registered to the same member that has posted the observation. Some members sometimes have 2 accounts , mostly because they forgot their original registration, then make profile changes under the new name, which of course has no effect or don't see the credit on the My Grid account for computations done. Think for the moment it's just that these credits were granted after the last statsrun. "Inconclusive" is an extremely rare condition for HCMD2. Don't know where this was recently discussed for this science, but I missed it. --//-- |

At top of every statistics page there is a timestamp, global and my grid, when the last run was. At this moment it says: "Statistics Last Updated: 12/9/11 00:06:02 (UTC) [8 hour(s) ago]" 4 More long hour still the next one and than add about 30 minutes for the time it takes to compute the new stats as at 12:06 UTC :o) Happy crunching and thanks for sticking to crunching at WCG. --//-- |

I've been a member for a few months, originally opting in for tasks from this project but never got any. Hmm - your join date is early September - which was during the period that HCMD2 was not generating work due to a storage problem in Lyons. There's a long thread here starting with the initial slow-down in early July The project's restart was foreshadowed here but it was a long time before new work units started appearing. Hence, I'd suggest that you opted-in when the project was in hiatus, which would explain the no-units-received-at-first matter. As for opting-OUT, perhaps you simply unticked the HCMD2 preference and left the "If there is no work available..." option ticked. If so, you could be sent units from any project if the projects that you'd explicitly selected had no work when your machine requested a new set of WUs. OR perhaps the way HCMD2 was re-started made it look like a "New" project and you had "opt-in for new projects" ticked. Not really sure about how your HCMD2 credit is not "with the rest of my stats." in what way is it 'separate??' Nonetheless, welcome (back) to the HCMD2 workface. There were no scripts run for "new project" opt-ins, not even the project got moved to the intermittent/inactive for the hiatus. But yes, had HCMD2 been unticked and no selected projects were available, HCMD2 could have filled the alternate work requests.
