Re: Waiting on Santa

cjslman, congratulations on your new family member.
1. Don't show her the Santa Claws video
2. When it turns out she can do a lot with your Christmas tree anyway by pure instinct
3. Be sure to have lots of duct tape handy
4. And keep us updated, please, inclusive of pictures if possible
Merry Christmas

I have two cats. The first years when they were young their reaction to christmas decorations was very simple. Those glittering objects, dangling, and colourful, were there for the exercising the reflexes of my cats. The cats would jump into the tree to catch all those goodies. For them christams was also a very nice event. We had to accept some collateral effects from cats play. The advantage is that we had to renew 25% of the decoration for the next year. It allowed us to experiment different themes. laughing

Anyway many years have passed by, and now my cats are much older and the excitment of the first years is also gone. They now look with due respect all the christmas decorations and simply sleep under the tree between the presents. smile

Re: Waiting on Santa

Mermaid & Hypernova... thanks for the encouragement. I'm basically a dog person (grew up with 10 of them), so this will be my first experience with a cat (very interesting to notice the different attitudes and reactions between them). I'll try to keep you posted on what develops between Bob vs Christmas.
