Ok, I'll try to address everything. It's set to connect every .30 days and the work buffer is 4 days. Same settings I've been using as long as I can recall on this system.

For HCC when I filter as you indicate I see the tasks for those. None of the HCC is due until tomorrow, so they are fine. I noticed the deadline time/dates don't match right up to what BOINC is showing. Time zone diffs? But the ones due tomorrow were retrieved on the 16/17th so that's 7 days. I thought when I have manually updated before I've seen some HCC wu's in particular that suddenly were tossed in because they could be completed quickly, it's been awhile so I may not recall correctly. Maybe it just looked that way because it resorted when I did a manual update?

Yes, my registered member name is the same as I use here. I haven't used any additional cache tool for management ever, I'll check out what you mention. Like I say, I've just been here turnkey for 6 years and the only time I've had to manually deal with anything has been if I've had a system down for an extended period, changing hardware or occasionally on my laptop because it was off for an extended period, but those are separate issues.

I have to wonder if what you mention in your last post SekeRob isn't what took place. I'll check out that file and see what I find if I can make sense of it.

This brings up something that BOINC should have added, a column for when the wu was retrieved.
