I just updated the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta on my computer. I did not even have to reboot (though of course I did reboot manually). After looking it over, the only change I see is that the license now expires on 31 December 2005. The older version expired on 31 July 2005. I have not found any news releases on the Internet about the new update yet.

Actually, I've had the update (1.0.614) for about 5 days... I knew about it from eWeek... (http://www.eweek.com) through a RSS feed I look at daily. Of course, I downloaded the update manually. I think it just got rolled out officially today. (Previous days were just for people to download first I guess). Other than that, not much. Just get the update to extend the date.
