End of HCC, HFCC C4CW and probably a first major publication by DSFL scientists..... 2012 should be nice for the WCG!!!!!

Especially with the start of new projects - which, by the looks of it, could well include their first for GPU...

you forgot about the end of HMCD2. Also they said there was going to be 3 new projects by the end of the year, but they have only release 2. So there is a going to be another new project release soon. Due to problems the project release maybe early next year.

I didnot know another new project should be launched !!!!!
INTERESTING !!!! WCG have already 3 projects on Tropical diseases ..... What will be the next one ??? i am looking for know it. ;-) it give us the opportunity to choose our favourite projects !!!! |

Well, as well as the ones we haven't been dropped hints about, there are these;
----------------------------------------IADS - Phase 2 (probably a long way off), HCC2 (sounds as though it'll not be in the too distant future), as well as a third water based project - as indicated in this thread So, all in all, plenty to be crunching for... |

WCG has been running for 7 years... in that time 19 projects (20 if you count beta) have started (some completed)
----------------------------------------as time goes on we speed up on projects and complete research... we get more processing power to do more results quicker and get more projects interested in this as being a viable option for research. i always look forward to each new project starting and am happy as each project closes down as they complete the research. so if you want new projects the easiest way to help them is to get more people crunching for WCG with whatever they have this will help complete the current projects as well make WCG look more useful to scientists so they will have more projects to complete here. so if you want more projects to be able to choose from get your friends involved and crunching projects here  |
