World Community Grid is pleased to announce the launch of the "GO Fight Against Malaria" project by researchers from The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California, USA. The researchers and World Community Grid members are working together to evaluate millions of candidate compounds to advance the search for new drugs that can cure patients who are infected with multi-drug-resistant mutant "superbugs" of malaria.
