Scheduler request failed

I just setup the BOINC agent on 3 machines yesterday and none of them are able to download a task. All of their logs show:

Requesting new tasks
Project communication failed; attempting access to reference site
Scheduler request failed. Couldn't connect to server
Internet Access OK - project servers may be temporarily down

I've been getting this "servers down" message for over 24 hours now and don't see any alerts about problems, so maybe the problem is on my end? I've got several other machines configured the same way and they are all working fine. I've got the proxy configured correctly on the agents and from the logs it looks like Internet connectivity isn't a problem.

Thanks

Re: Scheduler request failed

Linux?
Firewall? Port 80+443 have to be open outwards.
Proxy? Certain IP addresses need passages.
OS?

Assuming client version 6.10.58, your messages indicate that port 80 at least allows regular http traffic.

Re: Scheduler request failed

Yep, you're right. I had to configure the port number on the proxy. Thanks
