It is normal for WCGrid_Rosetta.exe to run at nearly 100% for hours and hours. That is what it is designed to do. Work units can execute from as low as 3 or 4 hours to several days. Check your WCG agent window and see if you are seeing the Task Execution Progress percentage increase. You can use that and the Task Run Time also in that window to calculate a rough estimate on how long your present work unit will take. What is the full message you are getting with the err326? I am afraid we will need more information than that to assist you with it.

No idea what gives an error 326. If ZoneAlarm is blocking your Agent, then it will not be able to send the results back to the server after reaching 100%. Do the logs on ZoneAlarm show them blocking 'outgoing connections on port 443 to server.worldcommunitygrid.org' as explained at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=firewall ?

I did a search in the forums over at Grid.org and didn't come up with anything. Then I did a google of "error 326" and found that it is an error message produced by applications coded in Microsoft's Visual Basic. The online reference documents it. I do not think any of the WCG software is written in Visual Basic, but am passing this question on to the developers.

I saw this on the internet about error 326: http://www.codeguru.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-23315.html
I wonder if your Windows crash may have corrupted some file somewhere. I think the vendor of the grid agent used visual basic calls for some aspect of the agent, so the connection is possible. If the reboot mentioned in the above link does not help, you might try uninstalling the agent and reinstalling in case something has corrupted the agent itself in some unusual way. This will make it look like a new program to zone alerm so if the firewall rules are a problem, this would give an opportunity to reset them. Otherwise, it might turn out that you need to restore some windows file or perhaps some part of zone alarm. This is all conjecture because it is hard to tell from a distance.

I do not think any of the WCG software is written in Visual Basic, but am passing this question on to the developers.

The graphical interface to the agent (the UD software) is written in Visual Basic (or at least partially written in it). The graphics panel (the 'i' screen) that we have control over is written in C++.
