I have had some trouble understanding how to do basic functions. Could there be a simple "how to get started" document?
First, after creating a WCG account, I several times used BOINC manager to try attach to WCG and failed. When the failure happened, the last message told me to check the event log, but there was no error message in the event log. Eventutally I decided that, what happened was that the attach dialogue box used my email address as default in the username box. When I changed the email address to the WCG username, the attachment was successful.
Second, I did not easily find the "new thread" icon to enter this post.
Background, I am running BOINC on a Macbook Pro with a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 processor.
