FWIW, we moved up one more notch in the team results returned ranks passing team Fansub for Research. We are about 6000 results behind team Lidingo stad which returns 1000-2000 results each day.

So why is it the more computers you run, the hotter a room gets :-) Now that I have two more computers running full time, I can't keep the room cool! Got to love summers in Texas... And of course being the newbie, I'm curious how some of you generate so many points! I assuming that some of you are the boss man and manage to install the app on all your work computers :-) Sorry, for me, it's just what's running at home. I work in the cooperate world and they have zero tolerance for rogue apps.

Good Morning Team So why is it the more computers you run, the hotter a room gets :-) Now that I have two more computers running full time, I can't keep the room cool! Good to hear from you YellowAV. A fellow Texan I see. There are several of us here. Does the Yellow in your name code for Amarillo? There are some corporations there...IIRC.I generate my points several ways: First is that I have 7 computers running in the house. I also have two more that are running at my son's, and two at my daughter's place. Additionally I have three running with Niece's, and one at one of my granddaughter's. Most of these are quads, and a few dual cores. I look after them using Teamviewer. The ones external to my house are all ones I built and supply for them to use as they wish as long as they keep them running 24x365 on WCG. I am retired and design, build and maintain websites and build and repair computers and networks partly to pay for my WCG "habit". Gerald: No secret.. I keep my work queues down to about .8 days, check with WCG about every 30 minutes and of course have Beta turned on. (Smile... Yesterday got me a gold badge for Beta) Everyone have a GREAT day. ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by RT at Jun 30, 2011 4:30:32 PM] |
