lots of my uploaded reports are in status "Detached", what does it mean? If its a problem, how to fix it? Thanks!! |

Hi, lots of my uploaded reports are in status "Detached", what does it mean? If its a problem, how to fix it? Thanks!! Is your client associated with an external Account Manager such as BAM? Projects don't detach and re-attach by themselves from standard BOINC setup. --//-- |

I am running boinc from a usb stick (portable boinc).
There is no internet connection from the crunching machine, so tasks are downloaded from a different machine and copied to a usb stick. |

Ah, well your "sneaker netting" methods are most probable then not sound. The host client if also crunching needs a meticulous stopping and starting of the client [from the USB stick] and resuming / suspending of netowrking, because if the host happens to communicate with the servers whilst your USB stick is crunching off-line, it's enough to let the server think that the results went south.
