Didn't mean to imply that it wasn't. It was FAAH that brought me to WCG in the first place. Personally, I'll crunch anything and everything WCG puts forward. Can't help feeling though that WCG aren't doing themselves any favours with the wider community by allowing the available project choice to become so restricted.

Yeah, the shortlist of projects at the moment probably isn't going to be attracting as many people as it did when I first started, at the beginning of last year.

Hopefully, this is just a temporary lull, and we'll get a few more new projects added before the end of the year. I should hopefully soon have the finances for the "monster-server", in the next couple of weeks, so it'd be nice to have more of a choice for that to get started on...

Good evening all,

Have a mild overclock on the new Haswell i5 4670k. Benchmarks give me 4268 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) and 11301 integer MIPs (Dhrystone) per CPU at 4.1 GHz

Agreed. I am really missing a project that works on a cure for cancer. To be honest, should another BOINC project come along with this task in mind, I would be very tempted to reallocate some of my fleet to the cause.

It is a shame that we get no/limited visibility as to what WCG are planning for the future. sad
