Not enough WU's?

Hi All,

I've been crunching CEP for a long time now, but of late the project has only been giving my PC (i7 920, Win 7 x64, Hyperthreading enabled) a single WU at a time, so inessence it's only using about 1/4 of the avaliable computing power.

My preferences are set to use all cores on all processors all of the time...

Any ideas as to why it is not being assigned more work?

Cheers

Re: Not enough WU's?

For CEP2, there's a special setting you've got to change so as to make it provide more WU's - this is basically as it's a special 'opt-in' project.

I do believe that there's a 'pinned thread' at the top of the CEP2 forum which gives the details.

Edit: Indeed there is - and here's the link New Project Setting

BTW, did you realise that you'd created this thread in the CEP Phase 1 forum, as there is a separate forum for Phase 2?

Re: Not enough WU's?

You could also diversify; select to run one or more of the other 6 active projects and the intermittent projects, really only one actively intermittent project at present (dddt2), but others might be revived at some stage.
