There are over 9000 workunits still active. We have over scheduled these work units again by 1 to help speed up the return of these work units.

I'm getting a few HCC WUs that are being "server aborted." Should I be concerned?

I'm getting a few HCC WUs that are being "server aborted." Should I be concerned? These should be repair WU's that you had not started processing. The WU should have been sent because one of the wingmen missed the deadline. After sending you a copy the wingman returned theirs and because you hadn't started processing it was server aborted. Correct? Bill P

The answer is no.
Bill P is very close. Since we are over scheduling the workunits. At this point we send out 4 results for every workunit but only need 2 results to validate. When these two validate then that is marked in the database. Next time your client contacts the server, it checks to see if the workunits on your machines queue are completed, if so, it sends a server aborted message that keeps your computer from processing it. This normally does not happen as we usually only send 2 copies at a time and need 2 back for validation. Hope this helps, -Uplinger |

Is the validator offline?
----------------------------------------Just found some WU with two Pending Validation from wingmen. I'm scared to cancel mine, because one of finished could be an 'Error'. So I stopped the WU.
