Hi and welcome,
----------------------------------------We cannot see your result status page. BOINC is sensitive to all sorts of communication interruptions. Few days ago my WiFi went down and after somehow the localhost/RPC calls got affected by that, so the client ate through 16 tasks with signal 11. See FAQ http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=459 You don't say which Linux Distro/kernel, but best is to get the Synaptic/Yum RPM package 6.10.58,which consists of 3 components: boinc (metapackage) boinc-manager boinc-client See FAQ at bottom: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...read,4925_offset,0#117237 for a screenshot of the installed packages. Let us know --//-- edit: assume the ia32 libraries have been installed. Also found in Synaptic/Yum [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 17, 2011 8:17:57 PM] |

Ah yes, me bad, sorry, I hardly look at the last line as there's usually a forum signature ;>)
Are the errors centred around a specific science, if you are running on a multi-science project selection? The essence is that if there is an intermittent error of which we know it's a local thing, you might want to do some testing per the linked FAQ. ttyl |
