biggrin Re: FAAH update

Hi Everybody,

The FAAH "Status" page has just been updated. See:

http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/status

On the FAAH homepage ( http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu ), I also just embedded a new YouTube clip that explains the Fight AIDS at Home project. This clip was created by Aaron Rowe, a journalist at C&E News (i.e., Chemical & Engineering News), which is the newsletter published by the American Chemical Society. If you want to see me provide a general description of the FightAIDS@Home project and display some 3-D printed models of HIV protease, go to:

http://youtu.be/V6gzc8uUGJw

or watch the clip on the FAAH homepage.

Thank you very much for your support,
Alex L. Perryman, Ph.D.

Re: FAAH update

Hello again Falconet,

We are not yet ready to share any news regarding extensions of those 2 allosteric fragments discussed in:

http://www-03.ibm.com/press/us/en/pressrelease/29568.wss

There are now several different scientists at The Scripps Research Institute in multiple different labs who are working to further develop those 2 allosteric fragments and to discover other, new, larger compounds that bind in those 2 allosteric sites. This is still an active area of research and development. When we have some news to share regarding those compounds or those allosteric sites, we will let you know.

Thank you very much for your interest and support,
Dr. Alex L. Perryman
