It's ALIVE, it's ALIVE!
Go figure I try for two weeks with a state of the art $1000 HD and nothing. Thirty minutes with a $40 +21 for Fed-Ex and it runs. Will let it break in for a while the SATA drive and OC!!! |

 Good Morning MOT So Frankenstein is alive at last. Very very cool.  It will be really interesting to see how much throughput that screamer will put out.  What project(s) did you startup on? How much Cache are you running? Are you running Windows 7 64bit? are there 16 simultaneous work units running? How busy is the disk? What percentage of memory is used? (ctl-alt-del and choose task manager then use the performance tab). Verrrrry Interesting.Congratulations. |

Yes it is ALIVE and survived the night! No crashes and running 24 tasks simultaneously, running HCC as has shortest run time per task and striving for a total of ten years for that project. RT will have to check Frankenstein when I get home tonight! Running 64 bit Windows, though would really prefer Linux! That said will switch to Linux, Ubuntu ASAP and start cranking up the over clocking. Also will try to install drivers for solid state drivers. Once hit enough tasks to equal ranking in points and ten years run time for HCC will probably switch to highest point per hour task, as this one is not very generous!
