Do you need to do anything prior to or after switching? No, there is nothing you can do. All that point accounting just happens automagically.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

Judson - I assume that for Frankenstein you have a regular spinning drive in addition to the SSD? If that second drive isn't already formatted, Windows install has been known to have problems not recognizing either drive. This happened to me during a Vista install a few years back. I unplugged the SATA cable from the second SATA port (i.e. the motherboard end of the cable) and the install went smoothly (if that can be said of anything having to do with Windows). Restarted system, made sure things were working, powered off, connected the SATA cable, drive recognized as it should have been in the first place.
I agree with RT that the easiest thing would be to just stick a single HD in the system, install Windows and then tinker with the SSD. Many SSDs come with programs to move Windows from another drive. - D (still a while before I'll have any SSD systems ... but not really a problem) |

Hi nanoprobe,
Do you need to do anything prior to or after switching? No, there is nothing you can do. All that point accounting just happens automagically. It is easy to switch teams. Just remember that you can only belong to one team at a time. My Grid always shows you which team you currently belong to. When (if) you switch back, you start where you left off, adding new team points to the total that you had already earned while a member of that team. Team points always show the total you have earned as a member of that team, no matter how often you have resigned and returned. Lawrence |

Great for crunching. Yup, As Lawrence indicates it is easy. Truth is that I am not 100% certain myself that you will not get some message like you indicated but I would bet you don't. Should you, you can go back and resign from the former team and then join. Like Lawrence said it is easy though. Lawrence...I think it would be a good idea for you to demonstrate it for him by switching to MOT yourself; then you can advise him from recent personal experience? Now thats a plan! ![]() |

yea, nano I still have tire marks on my back when you came screaming past me!!! by the way i know a great team that could use your help!!! I stumbled onto something today that may help. If you haven't tried this already try going to the Intel support site to download "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" driver 10.1 or later (current version is 10.1.0.1008) Hopefully that driver will be recognized.
