Speaking of twinkies, we watched Zombie Land on a STARZ channel this week and Woody Harrelson was in the search for a twinkie throughout the movie.

Good Morning MOT I personally have never run across that SATA driver problem in windows. That link looks like a logical approach to the problem nano. I am a bit surprised that there is a drive that win7 would not recognize; wonder what kind of a drive it is. ![]() I've never had an issue either RT and I've done dozens of installs going back to the beta test. I know how frustrating stuff like that can be. Hope doc gets it going soon. It's gonna be a big boost for your team and probably only a matter of time before he runs me over. ![]()
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

The hard drive is a OCZ Ibis HSDL 3.5 SOLID STE DRIVE. Windows dose not see the drivers when loaded on a disc. The instructions for the hard drive state drives have to be loaded as initial boot it will ask for them on Windows screen. Instructions say where to go to find drivers, which I did and burnt to a disc on different computer, Then when inserted to the beast it apparently never finds them no matter what I try. I have re-burnt drivers, changed disc and re-downloaded driver as well as unzipped. CD reader works as loaded Ubutu with out issue but with it though works great wireless card dose not. Am I in an episode of the Twilight zone?

I've seen the "travelers" ( RAMMIE, Hypernova and others) that help many other teams but I was under the impression that if I left my current team to crunch temporarily for another that I even though I would keep all the BOINC stats I would start from 0 again as far as my current team stats go when I returned. Am I wrong on that?

Am I in an episode of the Twilight zone? Is the SSD formatted NTFS or is it a raw drive? Are you booting from a Windows disc? If so, try loading the drivers on a usb drive. Insert the usb drive and then boot the Windows install disc. When it asks for drivers see if you can point it to the usb drive.

I've seen the "travelers" ( RAMMIE, Hypernova and others) that help many other teams but I was under the impression that if I left my current team to crunch temporarily for another that I even though I would keep all the BOINC stats I would start from 0 again as far as my current team stats go when I returned. Am I wrong on that? that is not correct. i have taken a couple of leaves from MOT (latest was with U.S.Air Force to correct a little problem we had with land and water folks getting uppity) and when i return i just pick up where i left off. the stats you get with the team stay with the team, when you switch the stats from the switch date start accumulating with the new team and stay with that team when you leave it, and when you go back to your original team you just add on to the previous total. i like the work Base Camp does and i have thought about joining them in the past. i really like the idea of helping out others. but everytime i think of leaving, i remember dave bell and all the other friends i have made at MOT over the years. that keeps me crunching for the MY online team.In Memory of Dave Bell |
