I like following the progress of all the projects here at WCG. That generally comes from what I see in my own queue, scientist updates, or other forum members occasionally posting their highest batch seen. While that's nice, it's not always the most frequent information. Plus, I'm only active in a couple projects at a time, and it seems silly to me to add a project just to see how we're progressing in it.

What I would love to see (and I doubt I'm alone in this) is a simple page which shows each project and a few stats about the work being run in that project. Something like lowest batch number sent and waiting for return, lowest batch number in the hopper, highest number sent and waiting for return, highest batch number in the hopper. Not as important but still intriguing to me are things like highest known batch (eg 2467 for HCMD2), number of results waiting for return, number of results pending validation, and number of results in the hopper waiting to send.

These could be a snapshot taken hourly, every 3 hours, or even less frequent. Just getting an idea of what all projects are currently working with would help drive my interest and provide some insight to work being done when project managers et al are not keeping us updated.

So, has this been brought up many times before? Any chance of it ever happening? (Somewhere beyond new badges and conversion to dog years?) Thanks!
