Investors for Humanity is a team for those who are interested in investing, personal finance, work in finance and anyone else who is looking for a team. We're a new team but we're in it for the long haul.

Our team description
We know the importance of financial management and sound investing, so why not invest in the future of humanity? It will pay dividends for generations to come. Join us in giving back and helping to solve the world’s problems.

I believe that WCG is another way to reach out and give back. I invite other like-minded members who enjoy working for something greater than themselves to join our team.

One of my current goals is to rewrite the WCG description on our team site to something that is more understandable by the average computer user (which I hope to finish this weekend). I've spoken to many people who are interested in what we're doing, but either haven't heard of the program or don't understand it.

Once the program is better explained and made more accessible, I don't see any reason why we can't dramatically increase WCG membership via free avenues like Twitter, Facebook, etc. into the millions.

People are generally good, want to help and contribute to the greater good--but the typically charity/volunteer work is not for them or is too demanding. WCG is perfect for these people. We just need to deliver the message in a way they understand rather than the typical techie that we're currently targeting. In the end, everyone wins. Not only do we work towards the common goal of solving humanity's biggest problems, but we feel better about ourselves by giving back and working for something greater.

About the Team Captain
I founded Mays Financial, which is primarily an online company dedicated to improving financial literacy and financial decision making by providing free financial education, articles, tools, courses and other resources entirely free. I currently self-fund operating costs, but don't mind because I get a lot out of what I do.

My wife and sister-in-law do work for cancer research, but aside from WCG my volunteer work primarily focuses on educating people on personal finance and financial planning with things like free classes and web courses.

My primary career (and income) is separate from Mays Financial. I enjoy investing in equities and real estate to a large extent. If you have any questions, you can read more about me, my work or contact me via the link in my signature.
