Server Aborted WUs

Quick one. Sorry if already answered else where.

Does Server Aborted WUs affect one's performance figures?

TIA

Re: Server Aborted WUs

Yes it does, but if your device is top-notch, more than a dozen errors of all types are needed to knock you from 0.1% error rating as best, to above 0.2%. And then, each valid result improves that rating again so the odd Server Abort is pretty much impact-free for stable devices.

And you need not ask as it is covered in ... the FAQ's ;>)

edit: Of course, if you happen to have a stash cached of a bad batch you might have to do some beggin' with the techs to reset the quota counter.

Re: Server Aborted WUs

Thanks.

Had a number of priority WUs to do, but within 2 hrs they got Server Aborted due to the original WUs being returned.

Re: Server Aborted WUs

Whenever my machine recieves a priority WU, it starts them straight away - due to my 'Switch between applications every' setting be set to 7200.00 Minutes. Usually, this results in them being returned way before the original one gets back.

May be something worth considering pcwr if you're worried about Server Aborted WU's.
