I'm looking for a BOINC/WCG monitoring program that will work on a Mac, to monitor all clients on the local network. (Two clients, both Linux/Ubuntu.)
The only ones I've found are these. BoincMenuBar is better than nothing, but I would like some more detail on each client. I couldn't get BoincStatistics to work, and the rest are only for SETI or CPDN. Do you know of other alternatives? |

Do you know of other alternatives? I have not tried it but it works on linux. Load wine on your mac and then load BoincTasks using wine. http://www.efmer.eu/boinc/boinc_tasks/ http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX Edit: It's a little buggy running under Wine so you may need to kill the process from time to time when it goes goofy. Apply the latest BoincTasks when it's updated, he does a good job of adding features and fixing bugs. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 25, 2011 6:35:19 PM] |

The Wine tip actually put me in mind that I had a Parallel VM gathering dust somewhere...
The whole stack (Parallel + Win 7 + BoincTasks) takes something like 1.2 GB of RAM, it has to be the most heavyweight monitoring app I ever installed ![]() But it works brilliantly, see screenshot. |
