Can't recall to have seen such a line before, but then WCG does not support GPU crunching, so it's unlikely to be posted here.

To go forward in understanding, plz post all messages from the start, relevant or not, through where the tasks start computing such as the below for a complete picture:

edit: A quick google spits out several discussions such as this one http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?21641-GPU-or-CPU... outdated GPU drivers, failed GPU could be causes. Make sure your computer is de-dusted else it will run too hot under 100% CPU load.

I haven't attached any other projects. I did think about it, yes, but that was a couple of weeks ago and I didn't do anything about it, on account that I saw all the discussions about burning out the graphics card.

OK, this is getting freaky now... What is going on?!

Edit: just saw your edit. Yes, you could say that changed. I am now remotely connected on my PC from my laptop. Is that the problem?

@mpcsmits: luckily, I wasn't actually using my GPU for computing, so I haven't lost any actual work, I was mostly worried about my graphics card.

@SekeRob: I think I should disable that GPU, after all, I'm not using it, nor plan on using it any time soon, so...But I don't think I need to go into the XML config file. There's also an option in the advanced view of the manager, under the Activity menu.

The option only appears when you have a GPU that can be used by BOINC for processing. I have two such machines (my home PC and personal laptop), but the third one is not compatible for that (my work laptop) and that's where I miss the options for the GPU.

I am yet to test if I logon remotely, do I still get the message. I will keep you posted.
