Backoffs is an interaction between server and client. The client backoff without server instruction usually start at 1 minute and increments... with the science app already unloaded think it's purely client driven.
Do you get these http errors regularly with the production CEP2? Maybe these Beta tests units would have had optimal feedback if targeted at clients with this. |

I have no other CEP2 uploads in the logs, restarted yesterday evening. However, this is probably an 802.11g related issue on my side. I have similar problems with GPUGrid tasks on that system; I regularly have to do manual upload retries (Transfers, retry now). They are around 24MB uploads. For example:

It's rare that reporting small tasks has to be retried on that system, and I never have any download issues, but while some server side restrictions (timeout length) may be hampering communications, I would still write this one off as an issue with my system. I guess others may also see similar problems with mismatched (mixed) networking - a/b/g/n, especially anything with the numerous n implementations. I can say that I did not see any noticible difference in download/upload or running for these CEP2 BETA's. Hope you got the information you wanted.

Wow...I managed to snag 53 of these Betas....That was a great catch. Sure was. I only landed 4. Long run times but they are PV which is good.
