Problem WU [RESOLVED]

Looks like this one has issues. 27 hours, 6.8% complete, last checkpoint @ 19 minutes. Suspended for now.
Any tech have an explanation on this behavior?

State: waiting to run

That's because I suspended it.

Re: Problem WU

If you suspended it, there would be the text: Task suspended by user.

I suppose the task is "Waiting to run" waiting for memory?

The screenshot is from boinctasks. When looking at the properties it shows that suspended task as waiting to run. Don't know why it does that. I checked and the task shows as suspended on the full screen view. Anyway, I restarted it just for kicks and we'll see what happens.

Re: Problem WU

How did you get that elapsed time/cpu time ratio? Has your wingman returned already?

The BoincTasks properties text says "waiting to run" for units that had been running before and "ready to start" for fresh ones, no matter if these are suspended or not.

Think there's something wrong with the wu, a C-Type should be done in a few hours max.

Re: Problem WU

Brinktastee,
I restarted mine and it's moving toward completion. Try suspending yours, maybe wait for a few minutes, restart it and see what happens. If that doesn't work maybe try suspending it and restarting your computer and then restarting the task. Good luck.

I had to restart, suspending and resuming did not do it for me. coffee
Funny, that's what I usually tell people at work (did you try rebooting?) tongue

Re: Problem WU

I may have rebooted cuz I was doing a bunch of other stuff while it was suspended and it was suspended for about 12 hours. Anyway it's moving forward. We'll see.

EDIT: It finished with a runtime of 2.64 hours. Guess it didn't count all the stuck time. tongue
