When starting the BOINC manager the first time, the WUs in the tasks tab are sorted in the order they were received. This is useful because that's the order they will be processed, normally.
----------------------------------------Of course the order can be changed by pressing one of the headlines. But I haven't found any means to go back to the default order - did I miss it, or is this not an option? BTW, I tried to search for "sort order" in the forum, but this results in an error. It looks like the search engine does not like the word "order"...  Regards, Martin  |

Try clicking on "sent time." That should do it.

There is no column "sent time".
----------------------------------------The only manner to get your tasks ordered in BOINC Manager in the receive order (normally without High Priority the order they will be crunched) is to delete the Tasks key in the registry. ...\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Manager\Tasks -> Aufgaben auf Deutsch Close BOINC Manager (not needed to close the client) before you do that. Or you could use BoincTasks (http://www.efmer.eu/boinc/boinc_tasks/index.html) There you have the opportunity to order your tasks as they were received. There is no column "sent time" - and there is no "Task" (or any similar) entry under "BOINC Manager" in the registry (Windows 7/64).

Normally you should find that Tasks key here:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Manager] |__ Tasks |
