World Community Grid has enhanced how members can use our website to link them with their Facebook or Twitter accounts. Members are now able to go to https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/sm/viewSocialMedia.do to link to Facebook or Twitter. At this time we have multiple options for what members would like posted, these are:

New badges earned
Your contribution by daily, weekly or monthly totals
Team challenges completed
Your all-time contribution posted daily, weekly or monthly

Also, members participating in The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 now have the option to change how many work units at one time they want downloaded on their machines. These values are changed in the device profiles under Custom Settings.

We are going to be 'beta testing' these features for a few weeks before we official declare them production stable.

Also - please note that in order to support the New Badge posting, we are currently creating a table that stores the date on which each member earned each badge. This is taking awhile and will likely take a few more days (we have to iteratively go through and compute it for each day). It will be several days before this table is fully built. As a result, badge messages will not post until this table completes.
