Failed Project/Device thread

This thread is for you to post the projects you have decided not to crunch because they failed running on your machine. Failed means too many errored WU's that you have not been able or willing to solve, for time or technical constraints.

Active or terminated projects are eleigible for your comments.
Please post also the description (whatever you know) of the machine where the project failed:
- Device type Laptop, Desktop, Model or scratch built.
- Usage type, exclusive WCG, personal use, professional use etc.
- OS version
- Antivirus, Security kit.
- CPU Model, Type, Frequency, if overclocked by how much
- Memory Type, Size, Speed
- HDD Quantity, Type, Size, Speed

I think that such a thread maybe useful for future improvements in project design.
But if CA or Tech thinks it is useless no problem you can delete it. smile

Re: Failed Project/Device thread

This is rather retrospective but on at least 2 occasions I had run-away-failures. Both systems used the Win 2003 server platform, both continuously/regularly failed HPF2 tasks. Intel Q6600, 4GB DDR2, plenty of free HDD space. I think this issue may have been resolved, but I'm not sure. I tend to run multiple projects now to prevent such problems (downtime).
