The result has been accepted as valid. This is just one job, but Same-Version-BOINC clients installed on two dual boot Windows Operating systems can share the same dataset, assuming the file system security settings etc. are all OK.

Good, already knew that and did the very testing in 2008 and discussed this over at the Berkeley developers forum. In the original was dual booting XP and Vista. There was no reason to think that XP and W7 would not coexist in the same way :D

Plz would you edit the Opening Post Title and insert [RESOLVED], same as my post. Then other visitors will know the case ended with a positive outcome.
