again on exit code error

Hello,

I would like to ask techs if it is considered a normal behavior (i.e., it can happen with this science) or it is under evaluation the ending of WUs in this way (see log).

This because I have seen several of them like this, and are considered 'Valid'.

Thanks
L.

Re: again on exit code error

There are some workunits that will generate errors in certain jobs in the workunit. We are investigating these errors. However as long as you finish at least one job in the workunit and it is validated the workunit will be marked valid and good data is being returned.

Thanks,
armstrdj

Re: again on exit code error

Thanks much for the explaination, armstrdj. I've had many of these but since they validated I though it was part of the science. Are each of these "jobs" an independent unit or are they linked together? Thanks!

Re: again on exit code error

Yes and no. Most jobs are dependent on output from previous jobs but there are a couple of jobs that are independent and the starting point.

Thanks,
