Can't connect to Core Client

Can anyone help me, please? My WCG BOINC Manager says it can't connect to the Core client. I've tried to reconnect via the Manager several times, but it can't. Nothing in my set-up has changed, so I don't know what has caused this and I'm not a computer expert.
