We had another status update meeting on the development of the new CEP and CEPDB webpages as well as the database itself. Things are progressing nicely.

The standard for SMILES in ChemAxon has changed a few months ago, so we are now canonicalizing the ones we are already had and were using throughout the project. No big problem, just a minor annoyance. Too bad that there is no general standard for this format. In the long run, InChIs will probably replace SMILES:
