WU's message

Whilst checking my results I have noticed that I have got two messages which I assume are the same one is pending vialation and the other inconclusive. My wus have been reported and am waiting for the other so that they can be vialidated, am I correct in this assumation. Why are my sig not being shown on the messages also?

Are you sure that is the status message?! It doesn't sound very nice.

Re: WU's message

Pending Validation is slightly different to Inconclusive - although in essense, they both perform the same function.

Pending Validation is where the WU your computer returned, is awaiting on 1 or more other WU's being returned from other members so that it can be validated.

Inconclusive, is generally seen most on Zero Redundancy projects (i.e., where only 1 WU is issued). Here, a second copy is sent out to another machine so as to verify that your's is still returning valid results. This 'double check' happens on a fairly frequent basis - as the last thing WCG/the scientists want, is a machine sending back supposedly Valid results when in fact, they're not.

As to your signature - are you referring to the one seen by other posters (myself included), which shows your WCG stats?. If so, you need to see the 'I made a new signature' thread started by SNURK and request that he makes you one (when asking, please remember to include your "Account Number" so as to make things easier for him).
