Hi
Up till a 4-5 weeks ago everything has been running ok with CEP2. It sits there happily eat cpu, memory, returning results and restarting correctly from check points when I power up the pc in the evening.... however.... I'm now getting allot of these errors with CEP2 but been unable to find any way of solving them. System: Name: Fenrir CPU: i7 860 GPU: GeForce GTX 275 (260.19.06 driver) OS: Ubuntu 10.04 x6 until last weeks reinstall to 10.10 x64. Dual boot with Win7 x64 RAM: 8GB Hard disk space: Plenty Boinc version: 6.10.58+dfsg-3 (standard Ubuntu boinc install) Work unit link (not sure if this will work) Results Log ( E200481_ 382_ A.25.C20H13N3S2.135.3.set1d06_ 0-- ) <core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version> This happens... * Always on resume. I switch of the pc at the end of the day. * With leave application in memory on or off Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
----------------------------------------SIGNAL 11 is SIGSEGV aka Segmentation Violation. Something may have gotten broken when that started. OS/Hardware? See this FAQ for more info: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=165 Hurt this suggestion may to Linux fans, but a boot and some diagnostics may reveal a problem.

Thanks for the reply. So far not found any problems with Prime95 and Memtest86.
The last few CEP2 tasks have completed successfully so maybe the problem solved itself. Thanks for your help. |
