It appears that the validator(s) has not run since the outage was resolved. I didn't find anything in the outage threads so thought I would let the admins know in case they were not aware of it.

Well, I have several pages of results pending validation. In fact I don't have any stats for today.

The validator must have been running at some stage, as all the results I returned immediately after the system came back are now in a Valid state.
----------------------------------------As to whether it's been stopped again, only time/the admins will tell. Don't forget, there are times throughout the day/night, when it normally doesn't run - so as to allow other processes to happen.  |

There is a gap on my RS page between the last result uploaded on Oct. 13 and the first result that was able to upload on Oct.14 of 27 hours. That means the backlog on validations for results being pumped up is huge, but anyway, this is my second last result returned about an hour ago, my time and it's been validated:

At any rate, things are running and probably are being suspended automatically at times to spread the load which is surely these hours after the outage quite a bit higher. Thanks for your patience. edit: The overall stats for WCG for the 14th were 24 CPU years. When looking before going to bed I had 3 pages of PV and now 1. Expecting a big noon stats spike.

I'm down to just a few results in PV, the normal amount that's waiting for the wingman to finish, so I guess the validator is now OK.

Is that why most (all?) of the results uploaded and reported yesterday a couple hours before 00:00 UTC were not included in the 00:00 stats run?

Yes - we got the front end pieces working so that work could flow to the members and get results back. We had some more work to do to get everything running again in the backend. At this point we are stable and running well. I'm hoping we have a nice quiet weekend
