It depends on the number of cores.
----------------------------------------One BETA WU per core. AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

I presume you have multiple units waiting to be crunched (CEP2 beta is currently only giving out 1 unit per 2 cores)?
----------------------------------------What I do is when I have any beta units to be crunched, I go to my Taks tab in my boinc manager click on the unit nearest the top of the list that is being processed then click the Suspend button on the left hand side. This will temporarliy stop that unit being processed. I then continue down the list suspending all other units to force BOINC to start on the beta(s). Once all the betas have started to be crunched I then Resume all the units I suspended so that these will then be processed once the betas are done (click the unit then click the Resume button). Admittedly I only have 1 machine so the task list is never very big so it only takes a short time to do the above. |

Personally, I'd recommend suspending those that haven't started yet BEFORE those that are already running (as, if you didn't, it'd start those instead of the "target (i.e., the BETA) WU").
