Using CentOS 5.5
For some reason when using ./boinccmd --project_attach www.worldcommunitygrid.org keyhere I get the return "can't connect to local host" Don't know if its my server or what. Any help much appreciated. |

If the core client (CC) daemon is not running already, than that would be a reason for getting that message.
----------------------------------------To start the CC, in Ubuntu with standard package the command would be sudo /etc/init.d/boinc-client start Here's a developers forum thread for CentOS 5 http://bossa.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=2687
