For the past two day, my machine has run nothing but CEP tasks and none of them are working. They all exit with "no shared memory segment" and then "exited with zero status but no 'finished' file.
I'm giving up on this project. |

I'm giving up on this project. Are you running Linux in a Virtual Machine environment? I had a lot of these problems in Windows with other projects when 4+ tasks start all at once on the host after been suspended because of a schedule. |

No, running linux native.
Looks like it's a generic problem, though, and not specific to this project. I'll be posting something on the general support thread, later. I had something like 8 of these going at once (i7, 8-core machine),. all CEP tasks. Wasted 2 days of crunching for nothing. |

That's a hateful message: "exited with zero status but no 'finished' file." not to speak of the shared memory one. Maybe this wiki page helps that mentions both messages: http://www.boinc-wiki.info/Result_%27%28resul...ut_no_%27finished%27_file

Try suspending tasks and then start them one at a time with a few minute interval. See if this solves the problem |
