As soon as WCG solves their GDPR issues and the signatures start updating again, your signature will be generated. At the moment I'm afraid there is nothing I can do.
This is also true for newly requested signatures. New requests are welcome as always, but the signatures can't be created yet. In the mean time all we can do is look at our signatures as they were created on may 23.

Looks like a signature update was run but mine has disappeared from the rankings page. Do I need to give approval or just a temporary glitch?

I have exactly the same issue.

Don't worry. I'm working on getting the signatures back up.
The very first attempt failed. This was because there were 4 signature owners who were no longer listed in the data exports. Those are the ones that choose to hide their data. I sort of expected the script to be unable to handle this situation.
After that hurdle the script seems to run ok, but is very very slow. I suspect this is because it searches the members position within it's country and team based on the position it was the previous day. Normally a members position doesn't change a great deal within a single day and the member is found fairly quickly. This time however the saved position is from six weeks ago and the script needs to download larger amounts of ranking pages to find the new country and team position. This process needs to be done for all members.
I now started to run the script in batches of 500 members. The first 500 succeeded. The second batch is still running. After that I'll start the final batch. That's why you'll see only 500 on the ranking page, and that's why you see some signatures are updated and some are not (yet).
Once all batches are done I'll join everything back together. That's the theory at least.
