@ SNURK,
----------------------------------------It took long, but FTP is working again of old and in full at photobucket, but the multi-connection uploading is now limited to 3 from same IP. Also, uploading new images and then overwriting them in a next update works again too. It does though require to 1 time delete the *new* image(s) that were uploaded during the problem period i.e. the additions **. At any rate, FTP access for pro accounts is not going away far as I can read. Finally, photobucket forums have returned: http://support.photobucket.com/entries/22462721-community-forums-have-returned , with not a single entry discussing FTP... no one is protesting the continuation, or it's an off-limit topic ;O) ** Think this is not an issue for you as you've been deleting them and re-uploading them with your web-album parse scripts. Snurk, I've seen my image has been deleted, I took a break from crunching but been back almost a month now. Anyway to get my sig back?
