Can see yours and it's coming through bit.ly from the SNURK standard path photobook. My own images are gradually showing up, except anything > 800 pixels. They remain invisible "moved or deleted" reports. Hmmm... well, perhaps there is a proxy somewhere that hasn't updated. My bit.ly link is in my signature and I posted the direct link from SNURK's WCG Signature Ranking page. I'm still getting a broken image symbol in Chrome and a blank space in Firefox. I've cleared the cache in both too. When I click on the links below, I get the "Page not found" error in Photobucket. direct link: http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af195/wcgsig/58751.gif bit.ly link: http://bit.ly/usafa82 *Edit: I usually use OpenDNS for my DNS servers, but changed to Comcast's DNS servers and Google's public DNS servers, but still no sig image. I did a flushdns as well. Hopefully it'll return later. *Edit2: And it's back! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by USAFA 82 at Sep 25, 2012 4:57:58 PM] |

Had not known that bit.ly custom addresses were allowed to be 7 characters... that's great, as I've been squeezing acronyms and monikers into the 6 I was used to use on tinyurl.
http://bit.ly/usafa82 Maybe it's just needing time for all their mirror servers to replicate. Will pull their goatee again in a few days if no answer comes to the Nov.1 resume of the enforced scramble. They themselves were not able to see my dashboard, and I can see it *inside* the Photobucket album, zoom it, even pull it into their edit tool. They've got work to do and stabilize their system. They may also realize that if same images are getting a new scramble code each time uploaded, they'll face exponential growth of the storage needs. Costly. |

BTW, noticed that SNURK found solution for the white segment of our Tricolore... it no longer shows the page background color, white remains white. :) SNURK probably started to work in/for a detergent company Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. They remain invisible "moved or deleted" reports. Hi SekeRob, It's not all plain sailing with the signatures as well. Although all were uploaded at the same time yesterday, they trickle in slowly on the forum. Mine for instance is still not visible, at least for me, nearly 24 hours after uploading. I did manage to get a new response last night from Photobucket HQ, although it looks rather default: " Hey xxx, Sorry for the confusion. You will notice that we are updating the message on the privacy page as well. Providing a secure and convenient home for your photos and videos is our focus. We are exploring ways to serve all of our users needs, while ensuring the privacy of your images. We appreciate your input and will provide clear directions and options prior to any future changes. Please let me know if you have any more questions." ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by SNURK at Sep 26, 2012 8:12:03 AM] |

Hi SNURK,
Yes, I posted that same seemingly generic message in the "Going Under..." thread. I'm letting them come to terms slowly and await if that red Nov.1 message goes away as is implied in that splurge. This came in reply btw to a message they'd better have worn a crotch protector so to speak outlining what could happen [they will have had many]. My website misses still about 10% of the images now showing the usual "moved or deleted by person" ladida. Someone posted to now be able to see the dashboard, and just tried to see WCGPI1 and WCGDSH and indeed they show properly, for now. They've got work to do to regain my confidence. |
