Both correct. You can change your member name and the signature will display the new name automatically. Your assumption about the exclamation mark is also correct.

Hi Snurk,

First, thanks for the great job you have done with this sig! I have a question. If I change my WCG name, will my globe update automaticlly? Also, the red exclaimation point? I'm assuming that it means you are at risk of being bumped back if a new science is introduced, is that right?
