=> SNURK, maybe you could create an intermediate indicator ? Because currently, when Juniors "lose" their indicator, they will never get a new one. Or maybe you could define the "Senior" indicator as "more than 5 years" ? I agree that a weakness of the current rule is that you can never 'become' a Senior cruncher. Would be a lot more interesting if you can actualy earn that title. I'll think of something, thanks. I guess that makes me the highest ranking old fart (sr). ![]() For once this is a reason to be jealous at an old fart. ![]() By the way, the highest ranking Jr (rookie of the year) is TSM-family. Joined december last year and already more than 30 years of runtime. Six blue badges too. Now that IS cool. ![]() Btw, would the number of active machines be a good addition? Good addition, but still.. what Sekerob said. If I put my sig on a black background, the white of the dutch flag is turned black also. On a white background one would not notice that, but i did! Is this supposed to be this way or not? Never tried it, but I know why it happens. I think I can solve that. ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by SNURK at Jul 11, 2011 6:54:41 AM] |

However the Sr or Jr isn't very important, because one can see the join date, may I think with you, SNURK? What about to take the first and last 12.5% of the WCG lifetime? Of course one could also take 20% or another figure. Examples for today and end of this year: WCG Official Launch 16-Nov-2004 I agree with SekeRob, you should/could use the color of the little blue man to indicate Senior, Junior or In Between, like little silver man for the Seniors and little green man for the Juniors. An advantage would be to keep the first line as short as possible. That line is the most important line influencing the width of the signature image, due to long user/country/team names. |

Hey, I'm a Senior citizen too! Does it mean I can collect my pension now?

@ SNURK: Are you still accepting requests for signatures ? I like yours much more than the standard WCG-widget. Thanks a lot in advance.

I made a small experimental change to the signatures and the signature ranking. Inspired by another thread I created little indicators for senior and junior members. Thought about what would be the best definition for sr and jr for a while and settled for this simple approach: Senior (Sr): Members joined in the first year of WCG, that is before nov 16 2005. Junior (Jr): Members joined last year, that is after jul 8 2010 (as of today). This date will slide of course. Like or don't like?? SNURK I like it! And glad to see it just happened. I would have felt bad if it had happened awhile ago and I didn't notice! |

Scribe, as yet, there's no meaning attached to it... No doubt though, SNURK will think up something - after all, his excellent signature has continuously grown with some fantastic improvements over the few short months of it's existence

Scribe only needs to look up some 5-6 posts in this thread on current ''little blue man'' discussion. Think the suggestion of green if Junior and Silver/Grey for Senior, is an excellent use of the ''feature''.

Just a little question....I have not been able to discover the meaning of the "little human" symbol to the left of the user name.....help please ![]() The meaning of the little blue human is nothing more or less than "Name/Person", like the other 3 text strings: Joined, Country and Team on the same line (not accidently the same colour). |
