Here is an interesting article about using amazon cloud computing to do medical research. http://www.jhsph.edu/publichealthnews/press_releases/2010/langmead_myrna.html The article states the cost of $66 for generating results is cheap since they do not have to have their own computer facility to do the calculations. I wonder if wcg could use that program so that they could get their results for less.
