Re: Always exit when connect to project

Hi Sekerob,

Which linux are you using? I want to have a test on this.

By the way, I installed the client on Ubuntu 10.3, 2CPU (VM), 2GB Memory and 20GB diskspace.

You said 30 lines in startup?? Where can I find these?

In reverse order:

If you run without a BM GUI visit the stdoutdae.txt file and take it from where it says Starting BOINC..., ideally the last one in the log, so we have a view of current setup as read by BOINC.

VM.. well missed that part until now **, which makes me think as to what VFS might mean. Virtual File System? Found VMFS and also VFS as an issue to mount the root file system.

I'm on Lucid Lynx LTS 10.04.1, with just updated LTS 2.63.32.25 kernel. There is already .35 kernel... but more interested on LTS stability and maintenance. Have merged/backported in many features of Meerkat 10.10. Think that one has loads more stuff coming that will backport to Lucid... it'sjust released to beta.

** CA's are like the dreaded dentists... the clients (members) often resist opening their mouth to show us what the caveaties are... which 6.6 version exactly?
