I left the computer running overnight so my task would finish on time. Last night it was about 80% completed. But this a.m. when I checked, it was now only about 48% completed. It is not a new task (I have it set not to accept new tasks); it is the same task, with the same deadline time. Has this happened to anyone else? This is the first time I've ever seen this.

Unfortunately I aborted the task yesterday. But from the Web site I retrieved this log info. I don't know if it's helpful:

Looks like a clean successful result log to me. Does it say Error or User Aborted in the Status column field you clicked on where you got the log?
----------------------------------------When there are at least 16 dockings in the task as the log implies then at each 6.25% progress a save is made of the progress so far so it's not clear how it got back from 80% to 48%... maybe you saw one task at 80% that completed overnight and a new task at 48%?

Now there are no results showing on the Web page. I guess my aborting the project removed the last results.
But as I said in the original post, the deadline hadn't changed at all, so something was wrong. It should have given me a week or so to complete a new task. So either it reset the counter on the current task, or it gave me only a few hours to complete an entire new task, which would be a glitch either way. |

Standard tasks have 10 days deadline except the A/B type of DDDT2 which have 8 and 7 days respectively. If it were a repair job they get a deadline of 40% of the original deadline. Sometimes when a client looses a tasks and retrieves it before the original deadline you might see very short deadlines like less than 2 days and of course Beta test results have an original short deadline of 4 days, so the repairs will be 40% of that thus 1.6 days. Glitsch... not impossible, but quite improbably.
----------------------------------------Why the task is no longer there might be because the techs moved the completed batch off from the server to make space for the growing returns that have shown this week. No tasks at all showing on the website Result Status page would be strange if you have work on your client.

No tasks on the Web site is simply due to the fact that I told the agent not to accept any new tasks after aborting the other one. I wanted to figure out what was going on before accepting any more work. So that's O.K.
