this is what i have

Mac Intel or PPC and of course confirmed that the client is attached to the profile you list the profile for.
----------------------------------------You have selected: C4CW, CEP2, HCC, DDDT2 CEP2 and DDDT2 are known why not coming C4CW has messaged as not available, but nothing for HCC. To reproduce I changed my school profile to HCC only and increased the Linux client cache by 0.1 day and immediately received 4 HCC. After, changed profile to C4CW only and increased cache a further 0.1 day and immediately received 2 and 2 more 1 minute later as per below Result Page extract. I use only one Default profile and CEP2 is turned on cause i have a linux box...

Yes, sometimes if one or the other daemon (work Generator e.g.) is busy or behind you get those cases where the shared memory does not get backfilled in time. Think there's presently extra large suction on the short C4CW that's maybe causing a vortex, but glad to read it settled.
----------------------------------------The title confused me when it spoke of Mac OS in the title and no further mention of platform in the OP. Sorry. Happy Crunching

Consider there are server varying loads on the different daemons that will at times cause irregular flows. Personally, with a little bit more cache, 1 day, think those who want to truly do a chosen research only and not be fed alternates during temporary science specific feeder hickups could deselect that 'if' box.
----------------------------------------Note that work is not pre-assigned to a specific platform. It's dynamically assigned, only the wingman going to the same platform / homogeneity group. HPF2 does not care. The quorum distro for this science is going as and when to anyone requesting a task (except for this one PPC is not enabled)
