Can't get motivated lately Oh, I totally understand. I too have periods like that far too often :( I have some concerns regarding my life which I have always feared and now realize I probably just must accept. I hate it, because it makes me feel like I have given up on those things even though I am still trying to make it turn out another way, but my efforts so far do not seem to be working really well though...I always have my disappointing predictions fulfilled :( However, while doing my best at crunching I at least feel that I somehow may contribute to something good, making my existance seem not completely out of context in this world - as I otherwise often feel. Soon Christmas though, yay! If it would not have been for my parents, I would have spent it completely on my own, having no one else. Oh gosh, sorry about this...it will probably not help anyone get motivated... Crunching on... The HCC project just passed 100 000 run-time years crunched! Hooray! We are at 6th place in the challenge. We could have done better, but the beta came in the way and ruined the app_info thingy for a while. Well well, I'm back to capacity again at least...

Anyway, a warm welcome aboard! Hello all, Thanks for the welcome. Well I'm René from the Netherlands. Some of you I know back from the UD-days. After that I crunched at WCG some years on the Edwardians team. I decided recently to go back at crunching for a couple of reasons, one is a personal loss in the family. I crunch currently on 1 machine which is a i7 860 with a 5870 video card. Greetings, René |

Welcome Rene once again! I believe I have some picture in my mind, remembering the photo in your sig now that I see it (perhaps since I too was crunching for The Edwardians for a while)...

I run on the PC in my sig, but I have to rewrite some specs as they have changed and I now notice I do not have the GPU listed there (HD7970, might be good to have since we now have GPU computing)...will change now.
