A new amd computer with 6 cores.

I had some problems getting the computer to run. I tried Ubuntu 10.04 and got a message that boinc did not support my linux. I have since corrected that problem. I tried to install windows xp but it would not install at all. Well I have been running it now for 5 complete days and it has completed not 1 and a half more than the quads I have running but has completed more than twice their amounts. 187 to 93 with both running Ubuntu 10.04. That is an average of 37 a day. I do not remember exactly but I think that is about 20 times the results I would get from any single processor computer even one running at over 3 G Hertz. If someone has a single or dual desktop and it uses ddr2 memory than one can buy a basic computer(no memory and no drives hard or optical for under $400. I am sure that it will pay for itself in lower electrical cost in about 2 years.
